New species of lizard discovered in Peru

 


Peru: A new lizard has been added to the treasure trove of science that has been discovered in a national park in Peru.


In a national park established under biological protection in the Andes mountain range, experts have found a new species of lizard in the Cusco region, which has been given the biological name of 'Proctors titTitansHowever, it is found only on high mountains. This is the reason why this lizard was first seen at an altitude of 3241 meters.



The color of this lizard is dark gray. It has a yellow and golden scaly texture on the sides of its torso. Surprisingly, its tail is larger than its entire body.
